Robert Brownlie

-

Brownlie, from Newmains, Lanarkshire, faces a tax bill of almost £500,000 – the bulk of which relates to his disgraceful puppy trade.

He was given a life ban from owning animals after being convicted of puppy trafficking following a Scottish SPCA investigation.

The 38-year-old had previously pled guilty to animal cruelty offences after making a fortune selling badly treated Pomeranian and cockapoo puppies, all without a licence.

When the Sunday Mail spoke to Brownlie, he vowed he would not pay back a penny to the taxman. He said: “There is more of a chance of Elvis appearing from the sky than me paying a penny to the taxman. You can put that in your paper. I don’t give a f***.”
