Status Quo call off gig

Veteran rockers Status Quo have had to postpone a concert in Norwich tonight after frontman Francis Rossi, above, took ill.

The band said the singer and guitarist had been diagnosed with laryngitis and had been unwell when he took to the stage at Glastonbury on Friday night.

The band were due to perform at the Nick Rayns LCR as part of their current tour.

The concert will now go ahead on November 16.
