Amy I love playing for footie heroes
Football- mad Amy Macdonald says she gets a thrill out of playing for the biggest names in the game.
The star told the Sunday Mail: “I played in Germany at a place called Freiburg and we had their national football manager Joachim Löw there as it was in his home town.
“I’m a huge football fan, so it was just really strange to see someone you know so well from that world dancing to your music.
“I played at the official Champions League dinner when the f inal was in London a few years ago.
“The front row was all people like Alex Ferguson and David Beckham, which was crazy.
“I’ve also played at the Ballon D’Or in front of Messi, Ronaldo and the rest of the world’s greatest players.
“It’s really cool to have people l ike that into what you do.”
