7 die in gun raid

Seven members of a paramedic group in Syria have been killed when gunmen stormed their office.

The Syrian Civil Defence group, more commonly known as the White Helmets, said in a statement that the attack took place early yesterday in the north-western town of Sarmin.

No one has claimed responsibility.
