Louboutin I’m no fan of surgery
Shoe guru Christian Louboutin has spoken out against the trend for cosmetic surgery.
The French designer, famous for his killer heels with their distinctive red soles, says surgery never improves looks.
And he believes people are too vain about their appearance.
Louboutin, 54, said: “I’ve never seen anyone who has had plastic surgery and thought ‘Wow, that looks good.’
“I’m not against changing who you are.
“In the 70s, someone bleaching their hair was changing their image. In the 80s, bleaching their teeth. In the 90s, Botox.
“The bad thing is the mentality around it and the obsession with your own image.”
