Aldi’s dram fine malts

Five whiskies from discount supermarket Aldi have won medals at the Spirits Business Scotch Whisky Masters awards.

Thei r Glen Marnoch Speyside single malt, which costs £17.49 a bottle, was awarded a gold ahead of Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve, which retails at £ 37.45.

The chain’s Glen Marnoch Islay single malt also won a gold medal.
