Sunday drive is the safest

Sunday is statistically the safest day to drive, a Direct Line survey has revealed.

While we joke about the scourge of “Sunday drivers”, Friday is the most likely day to have an accident with 453 crashes taking place on a Friday compared to an average of 397.

However, the peak time for having an accident is Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm.
