Dick’s Ry praise
Dick Campbell last night insisted battling Airdrie deserved all the credit.
The Diamonds salvaged a point when hotshot Andy Ryan netted just after the break to cancel out a 33rd-minute opener from Omar Kader.
Smokies boss Campbell said: “I’m disappointed with our application and the way in which we went about our jobs. We’ve had seven or eight chances but Airdrie deserved a point and I’d give the credit to them.”
Airdrie head coach Willie Aitchison said: “We lost a sloppy goal but took them all the way.”
