Boss Peter Houston insists he shares the frustration of Falkirk’s boo-boys after another bad results.

The Bairns salvaged a point when Myles Hippolyte’s penalty cancelled out a fine opener by Alistair Roy.

However, Falkirk passed up a host of great chances and fans made their unrest known at full-time.

and said: “The fans feel frustrated, just as much as we are. If we have any ambitions I would expect to win matches against Dumbarton at home.

“If fans are booing it’s because they expect that too.

“We had 19 shots on goal and you have to score or you end up dropping points.

“You just can’t miss chances like we are at the moment and hope to get a win.”

Falkirk were stunned on the break after 13 minutes.

David Wilson slipped a fine pass through to Roy who fired home from 18 yards. But when Nathan Austin was bundled over by ex Bairns striker Mark Stewart, Hippolyte levelled with a 24th-minute penalty.

Sons gaffer Stevie Aitken said: “Our work-rate and attitude were outstanding.”
