Lennon: I didn’t make a gesture
Neil Lennon insists there was nothing wrong with his celebrations at Ibrox – despite angering Gers boss Pedro Caixinha.
The Hibs boss appeared to direct a gesture towards the home crowd behind him after Simon Murray’s leveller in Hibs’ 3-2 win.
At the time it appeared to infuriate Gers assistant boss Helder Baptista who was seen speaking to police in the technical area.
Caixinha also hinted afterwardsa that Lennon showeds him a lack of respectr – but the former CelticC manager is adamant thatt he was innocent.
Lennon said: “I was celebratingc a goal. So what wayw are you supposed to celebratec a goal?
“If I pick my nose here somebodys will find somethingt to criticise me for. I wasw celebrating a goal so that’st the end of it.
“Was I unhappy that theirt coach spoke to the police?p Yes. He should have Baptista
