Probe after death at sunshine resort

Cameron attended Garnock Academy in Kilbirnie before getting a job as a digger driver with waste management firm Clearwater.

He played football with Dalry Tartan amateur football club.

The Foreign and Commonweal­th Office confirmed they were liaising with his family.

A spokesman for the hotel refused to comment.

Cameron is the third British tourist to die or be injured in a fall from a balcony in the resort in the past four years.

In 2013, Shaun Davies, of Llanelli, Wales, died after falling 10 floors.

The same year, an 18-year- old Dutch tourist was also killed after falling from a balcony.

Bulgarian authoritie­s introduced fines for anyone trying to jump off balconies into swimming pools, a craze known as balconing.
