Ulrika I regret being a cheat
MasterChef star Ulrika Jonsson has admitted she regrets cheating on her first husband.
She says unlike her in her younger days, her children have“really healthy attitudes to relationships”.
The former weather girl turned TV presenter is back on our screens cooking up a storm as the favourite to win Celebrity MasterChef this week.
Now she says she is finally settled after a colourful love life and four children by four different men – earning her the unfortunate nickname 4x4.
Ulrika, 50, who once dated Prince Edward, said of her first marriage to cameraman John Turnbull: “I was so young. I didn’t know myself.
“I did some not very nice things. I was unfaithful, which is more than not nice.”
But she claims her four children “all have really healthy attitudes to relationships” and says her oldest son Cameron, 23, “is in a lovely relationship with a beautiful lovely girl”.
Cameron is her son from Turnbul l and she has daughters Bo, 17, and Martha, 13, from previous relationships.
She has another son, nineyear-old Malcolm from her current husband, American advertising executive Brian Monet.
But she says she has struggled with getting older and going through the menopause. The celebrity MasterChef finals are on Wednesday at 8pm and Friday at 8.30pm on BBC1.
