Ashlie McAnally Game of Throneses star Kit Harington won’t pose for fan photos otos with his fiancéee and former on- screeneen flame – becausee he feels like a puppet. pet.
The 30-year-old – best known as Jon Snoww in the US fantasy dramama – said being snapped ed with Rose Lesliee wouldwou uld be like living in the show.
Being treated ed like a celebrity ity isn’t natural to him and although ugh he’ll happily poseose on the red carpet,pet, he often rejects fans who ask for a pic.ic.
Kit said: “Youu just have to, otherwise rwise you start feelingng like a mannequin.
“Me and Rosee never do a photo together gether because it makesesourour relationship feel like... puppets, like we’re a walking show.
“It makes me snappy and it makes me uncomfortable and I turn into a grumpy person.”
Rose played Kit’s on-screen lover Ygritte between 2012 and 2014.
Jon Snow was his first screen role and he is about to start work on the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones.
He said: “I wouldn’t have wanted to go on for another year but if it had finished last year, it wouldn’t have felt long enough.
“Maybe the most special year wwas the f i rst . We wweren’t recognised in the street, we didn’t know what we were doing – we were having a great time.” Kit and a friend from drama school set up productioproduction company Thriker Films and their f irst project is Gunpowder, which airs for the first time tonight on BBC1. The historical drama sees Kit play Robert Catesby, the brains behind the plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. Catesby is Kit’s middle name and his mother’s maiden name – and he’s a real ancestor. The story is a piece of family history and he was so taken with it that he made it their f irst production. But he insisted: “It doesn’t mean I’m always going to play swords and horses.”
