“I’m looking towards next year’s Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast. The team gets announced in January so we shall see how it goes.
“I did two years of a sports development degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University but put it on hold to train for the 2012 Olympics.
“I was thinking of going back and f inishing my studies but it looks like modelling is my new and unexpected calling.
“I am extremely ambitious thanks to my competitive background in sport and I am determined to make it to the top, especially as I’ve come into the plus- size modelling business at the perfect time.”
Mark Conlin, of Colours, who scouted Brett on Instagram, believes he can go all the way.
He said: “Brett is a pioneer in the industry. He is one of the UK’s first plus-size male models and he has the drive and ambition to make it internationally.
“He is also classically tall, dark and handsome. Clients have been going mad for him and he is optioned every day for shoots.
“The UK has been slow on the uptake but now the f loodgates are open.”
