Poch’s fury at derby opener

The Gunners closed to within a point of Pochettino’s side and maintained their arch rivals’ miserable record at the Emirates.
Shkodran Mustafi gave the home side the lead by heading home from what replays showed was a slightly offside position in the 36th minute.
The free-kick that led to the goal was also controversial, with Davinson Sanchez being penalised by whistler Dean for a questionable foul on Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean went on to score the second five minutes later – but Alexandre Lacazette was also just offside in the build-up.
Pochettino insisted the opener changed the game and said: “I’m very disappointed in the performance and the way we conceded.
“The foul wasn’t a foul. The goal was offside. But we lose. I’m not blaming the referee but it changed the dynamic of the game.”
The pressure was on Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal side but they responded in style.
Mustafi headed past Hugo Lloris and their domination was underlined five minutes later when Sanchez netted at the near post.
Gunners gaffer Wenger said: “I haven’t seen the offsides. I’ve just seen the foul again and it was a foul. I can think of many games where we’ve had bad luck.”
