EX-EMMERDALE ACTRESS SAYS SHE’S MORE
It’s the f irst time the former Emmerdale actress has openly denied the rumours that she and the hunky Spaniard are in a relationship. Last week, Gorka, who partners singer Alexandra Burke on the hit BBC show, shared an online snap of him and Gemma celebrating her birthday fuelling rumours that have been circulating that the pair are dating. But speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mail, Gemma, 33, who is being tipped as the dark horse of the competition, said the only men in her life at the moment are her two dogs. The former Hollyoaks star said: “Gorka and I are just friends. He is a great dancer and a lovely person. We train miles apart and hardly ever see each other. “I turned 33 last week and I suppose I should be finding someone to settle down with. But I’m quite happy on my own and I’ve got my dogs, Ollie – a cocker spaniel – andNorman–asproodle. Who knows what will happen in the future?” Gemma, who has dated footballers Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Bent, also revealed that despi te a stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle and diving with sharks on Jack Osbourne’s Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie, Strictly Come Dancing is the most terrifying show she has ever done.
The former Ultimo model, who is partnered by Aljaz Skorjanec, 27, said: “Put me in the ocean with great white sharks or in the jungle with creepy crawlies – stepping on to that dancefloor on a Saturday night is far more petrifying than anything I have ever done before.”
Gemma, of Bury, near Manchester, admits getting two 10s in Blackpool
