Bad boy star to bounce back

- Leinster v Glasgow

Glasgow boss Dave Rennie has tipped George Turner to bounce back after being put on the naughty step.

The hooker returns from suspension for the Champions Cup revenge mission against tournament favourites Leinster in Dublin today.

And the coach expects Turner to show that he has learned a big lesson from the moment of madness against Montpellier last month that earned him his ban.

Glasgow are out of the running for a place in the quarter-finals but Rennie is looking for a big performance from Turner and Co.

He said: “George’s four- we e k su spens ion wa s incredibly harsh for barging into an opponent off the ball – especially when other guys have got half that punishment for hitting men on the head with their shoulders.

“It is what it is and al l you want is consistency. He realises he made an error and he has been punished severely for it. He’s very keen to get back out there. It’s great to have him back in.”

Wi th Fra ser Brow n sidelined by concussion, the RDS encounter is also a great opportunity for Turner to put up his hand for Scotland’s Six Nations opener against Wales in Cardiff next month.

Leinster skipper Isa Nacewa has predicted another wonder show from I reland’s latest young superstar Jordan Armour.

The 20-year-old has bagged a spate of stunning tries over the past two months and Nacewa said: “Jordan is just fun to play with.

“When he first came on board he looked like an out and out finisher.

“The coaches have done a superb job in managing him and he’s just got bet ter every week.”
