Death of child star

Nanette Fabray, a child performer in the 1920s who went on to dance with Fred Astaire on the big screen, has died at the age of 97.

Fabray also won three Emmy Awards working with comic actor Sid Caesar during television’s Golden Age.

The actress and singer also starred in a number of Broadway musicals.
