Mobiles screen out family time

Families now spend less than four-and-a-half hours together a week as children grow more obsessed with technology, a poll claims.

A third of parents wish they could uninvent the smartphone to stop their children spending so much time online.

And three- quarters of mums and dads say today’s kids are less imaginative than their own generation, according to a survey by organic drink firm Honest.
