21 killed in bombings

Two bomb blasts in Somalia have left 21 people dead.

Extremist group al-Shabab have claimed responsibility for the attacks, which happened in the nation’s capital Mogadishu.

The two car bombings ended a months-long period of calm in the city.

The first blast was near the Somalia’s intelligence headquarters and the second near its parliament.
