Second-hand buyers’ boost

Complaints about secondhand car sales remain one of the biggest problem areas across the UK.

So Scottish local authority Trading Standards have released new guidance for second-hand car dealers, aimed at ensuring a high level of understanding of consumer protection law.

The Scottish Motor Trade Association said: “By adhering to the advice, our membership can expect to maximise their exposure to consumers.”
