Arbroath No. 2 Ian Campbell insisted his men deserved more than a point as they dented Raith’s title hopes.

Goals from Ryan Wallace and Leighton McIntosh twice pegged back the leaders and Campbell said: “I thought we deserved at least a draw with

our team spirit and the way we passed the ball.”

Jason Thomson opened the scoring for Raith just before the break with a bullet header.

Wallace levelled then Willis Furtado looked like he’d won it from close range. But in the final minute McIntosh sealed a draw.
