Rare Who scripts to go on sale
Rare scripts for six lost Doctor Who episodes – scrapped due to BBC strikes 40 years ago – have been discovered.
The scripts are from the 1979 Shada story – written by Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy author Douglas Adams and starring Tom Baker as the Doctor – which was left unfinished because of the industrial action.
The papers, with scribbled notes by director Pennant Roberts, are being sold for charity by his widow, Betsan.
