Vic in line for £3m despite tour snub

-

Victoria Beckham could pocket £3million from the Spice Girls reunion without singing a note.

Posh, 43, now a fashion designer, has reportedly pulled out of the band’s comeback plans, putting the project at risk.

But she is still in line to boost her bank balance through copyrights, endorsements and promotional plans if her pals press on.

A source said: “Victoria doesn’t want to tour as her fashion business is going from strength to strength. But she will make a lot of money even if she doesn’t take part in the reunion. It’s ruffled feathers as she is still set to benefit hugely without having do to much. At the moment, she wants minimal involvement.”

Mel C hit out at her last week, saying: “Victoria has been quite vocal. It’s really not something she wants to do at this time. I think it has to be all five, so it’s tricky.” Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller has said “four not five” girls were on board.

The source said: “Victoria is adamant she is committed to her business, so Simon is seeing how he can get her on board without her committing to a major world tour.”

Last week Mel, 44, confirmed there are “no plans” for them to reform yet. She said: “It’s very early stages. We’re not talking about new music or going out on the road together at this time. It was just getting together to reignite all the things that we have had together and to work with Simon.”

Excitement about a reunion has been building since a photo of all five Spice Girls – Mel C, Victoria , Emma Bunton, 42, Mel B, 42, and Geri Horner, 45 – appeared online last month.
