Sergio hit by dose of Rons

-

Cristiano Ronaldo should have grabbed the headlines by saving Real Madrid with an 84th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory over Eibar.

But the disappearance of Real defender Sergio Ramos mid- game had people talking instead.

It turns out the captain, who left the field for around five minutes, had to answer the call of nature.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane said: “Ramos s** t himself a little bit. He went to the toilet and returned.”

Los Blancos led in 34 minutes through Ronaldo. But Eibar hit back through Ivan Ramis in 55 minutes.

Ronaldo headed in from Dani Carvajal’s cross to nick the win, prompting further praise from his manager.

Zidane said: “Cristiano is from another galaxy. He knows he is going to score.

“When he’s scored two goals, he wants three. He is a special player. His figures speak for themselves.”

In Germany, Hamburg’s survival hopes were dented with a 6- 0 defeat at Bayern Munich. The home side took the lead early on when Franck Ribery slotted home.

Robert Lewandowski headed in No. 2 in 12 minutes and doubled his tally soon after, converting an assist from David Alaba.

There was no let-off after the break when Arjen Robben found the net before Ribery bagged his second after dancing through the Hamburg defence.

And Lewandowsk i completed his hat- trick with a penalty in the 90th minute.

In France, PSG put their European exit to Real Madrid behind them by humping Metz 5- 0.

Thomas Meunier opened the scoring in five minutes with a shot off the post before Christopher Nkunku scored the first of his two goals 15 minutes later.

In 28 minutes Nkunku struck again with a low drive before Kylian Mbappe made it four in added time.

Thiago Silva added the fifth on 82 minutes from a corner.

The Paris giants have now scored a club record 145 goals this season.
