Father and son give assurances to court over future build jobs

Allyson, a GP practice assistant, f inal ly got her money back from Callum Fraser via her bank after involving Trading Standards and the CAB.
But others were not so lucky. Andrew and Janette Scott faced similar problems after paying £ 4900 to have their conservatory converted to a garden room.
I told in October 2016 how the tiles were meant to have a 40-year guarantee but the roof started to leak and the tiles flapped in the wind.
The pair, of Ravenstruther, near Lanark, called me after getting nowhere. Andrew, 66, said: “The only way to fix this was to use different tiles.”
James Sloan paid £ 800 for estate agency services in March 2015. His contract was also with Callum Fraser – run at the time by Fraser and his brother Callum Black.
But they ceased trading and would not refund his money.
James, 43, of Motherwell, f inally received his cash after I got on to his bank.
Cal lum Fraser Ltd went into liquidation in August but Fraser Black, as director, and Martin Black, having a special relationship with the firm, gave the undertakings to the court in January.
Shirley Cleland, of South Lanarkshire Council, said: “Martin and Fraser Black have given undertakings they will not breach certain consumer protection legislation. These will be closely monitored.”
Martin and Fraser Black did not comment.
