Malfoy star’s jokey threat to party kids
Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs sent a jokey chilling warning message to children attending a party at his house.
The actor, who played the menacing Lucius Malfoy in the movie adaptations of JK Rowling’s novels, is father to two daughters with his documentary filmmaker wife Emma Hewitt – Lily, 16, and Ruby, 12.
Isaacs, 54, posted on Twitter: “To the 40 kids going to my house for a party tonight , ‘ Lucius Malfoy’ s place, eh? What fun’.
“Sorry I won’t be there to meet you. I know where you all live too, by the way.
“Touch any of my stuff and I’ll kill you where you sleep. £Slytherin.”
Isaac splayed the father of Potter’s rival Draco Malfoy, brought to life in the movies by Tom Felton.
Isaacs and Felton have become firm friends and on Felton’s 30th birthday last year, Isaacs wrote a tribute to his on-screen son.
He said: “Prouder and prouder of who and how you are as you spread your wings.”
Earlier this year, Isaacs won an Empire Best Actor award for his portrayal of Captain Gabriel Lorca in the TV show Star Trek: Discovery.
He sprung a surprise by revealing in an interview that he had been blocked on Twitter by Star Trek legend William Shatner.
Isaacs posted: “I’ve been blocked by William Shatner. The unkindest cut of all. In what way have I broken the prime directive, Captain Kirk?”
