Kate gave up her TV career to be with the ex-footballer and has said they want to get engaged.
She spent Mother’s Day with Rio and his kids this year and posted a gushing tribute to them on social media.
She said: “I feel so overwhelmed and full of emotions that Rio and the children don’t have their mums with them today.
“We are living in a house full of grief trying to get through and days like today feel so tough.”
