Gordon Ramsay has admitted his worst dish ever was a crocodile stroganoff.
The celebrity chef tried to make a dish out of the reptile dur ing a TV shoot in Vietnam.
But his efforts were so bad even kids wouldn’t eat it.
Ramsay revealed his own kitchen nightmare during a US TV chat in New York to promote his Fox show 24 Hours to Hell and Back.
The 51-year- old said: “In Vietnam when I was working with one of the families on this f loating housing estate on the Mekong Delta and they were harvesting crocodi les underneath, I had this crocodile tail and I tried to do a stroganoff.
Describing his personal food hell, he said: “It was a disaster. Even the kids wouldn’t eat it. Not good.
“When you see kids not eating food, you know it’s bad. This was really bad.”
He said no customers would have been served that meal, adding: “I wouldn’t send it but I’ve made something that I thought, ‘Oh, that’s not quite right.’”
Last year Ramsay spoke ill of dishes served by his mum.
He claimed his mother Helen cooked up tripe soaked in milk for his father during his childhood.
As a traumatised teen, Gordon felt that he was left covered in the terrible smell.
The Hell’s Kitchen star said: “I used to go to school with that lingering smell thinking, ‘S***, does my hair smell of tripe’.”
