ED TRIPLE EFFECT

- Scott McDermott

Odsonne Edouard has told Celtic supporters that he’s in Glasgow to win a treble Treble.

The £9million Hoops striker has targeted a clean sweep of trophies for Brendan Rodgers’ side for the third season on the spin.

And the former PSG kid ( left) reckons his link-up with French pal Moussa Dembele can help them achieve it.

He said: “My main objective is to win the three trophies – just like last season.

“I’m not thinking

about anything else. The coach has set us a style and a strategy – and we respect those plans.

“For me, it ’ s about scoring to help the team. I have a great relationship with Moussa.

“We understand each other well on and off the pitch. That friendship can be important for the team.”

The 20-year-old added: “I’m still a young player and hopefully I will improve.

“I’m in the team and I want to keep my place.”

Edouard reckons if the Hoops can reach the Champions League groups it would boost the chances of himself, Dembele and Olivier Ntcham being capped by World Cup winners France.

He said: “We’ll prepare well for Rosenborg and hopefully get the goals over two legs to qualify.

“It’s important to myself and the club to get to the group stage.

“The French players can play for France, why not? But at the moment I’m only focused on my club.”
