TV soap star gets licence to thrill
Sally Howitt reckons she could put herself forward for a role in the next James Bond movie after her latest explosive scene in River City.
The actress – Scarlett Mul len in the drama – will be seen trapped in a building with gas canisters set to blow in Tuesday’s episode. She said: “It’s been thrilling and exciting – and scary.
“The adrenal ine was pumping, my heart was racing. I did feel like a lady James Bond, just slightly less glamorous and there were no shaken-not-stirred martinis anywhere.
“If we’d jumped into a moving car, that would have been the complete James Bond experience right there in Shieldinch.”
