Golden refund

Hazel Byrne was given a gold chain in a present but the clasp broke after just one wear.

She took it back to jewellers Warren James, who claimed she was only entitled to a credit note.

But I got on the case and Hazel, of Linlithgow-Bridge, Linlithgow, received a full refund of £ 295.
