Cops crush airport rally

Tu rk i sh pol ic e hav e detained hundreds of workers protesting over labour condi tions at Istanbul’s new airport.

The project is being championed by president Tayyip Erdogan and the bui lding is due to open next month.

The protest broke out after a shuttle bus accident on Friday in which 17 staff were injured.
