Boy, 11, in top gear for final

An 11-year-old boy from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, will take part in the national final of a driving competition – despite being six years away from getting his licence.

Cameron Kerr will compete in the Young Driver Challenge 2018, as one of 40 finalists aged between 10 and 17.

The event is on September 22 at the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire.

Cameron said: “I was thrilled when I found out I had made the final.”
