Typhoon kills 14
At least 14 people have been killed after a powerful typhoon battered the Philippines with ferocious winds and torrential rain.
Around 87,000 people were evacuated to high ground as the storm brought gusts of up to 160mph.
Most of the victims were killed in landslides and houses that were pummelled by the storm’s f ierce winds and downpours.
