As well as his Strictly commitments, his debut novel, One Enchanted Evening, is out now – and he is returning to Scotland on tour with long- time professional partner Erin Boag in March next year.
Anton and his wife Hannah, 42, also had twins George and Henrietta last year, which he admitted has changed his life.
He said: “It is almost inexplicable. You see these little people and they are full of optimism and excitement. I love it so much, I can’t tell you.
“It is the most incredible thing. The more you are with them, the more you want to be with them. I just love it. It is tiring but I think because we came to it a little later in life as well, I don’t want to miss a second.
“I have a lot going on but Hannah is incredible. She is the best mum in the world and she is loving it.
“If I’m working, I don’t start work until after the babies have gone off to nursery and I try to be home for dinner and bathtime and bed. Those two ends of the day are really important and if you miss out on those, you feel like you have missed out on so much.”
With Brendan Cole not asked back this year, Anton is now the only professional dancer who has been on Strictly since the first series back in 2004.
