Hunt cops find body

-

Police searching for a 42-year-old man have found a body.

Martyn Cruickshank, of Crieff, Perthshire, was reported missing on Monday, sparking an extensive search.

Officers confirmed yesterday that a body had been found in the local area.

Formal identification is yet to take place but Martyn’s family have been informed.

As one of the elder statesmen of the show, he is diplomatic about the kiss that led to the comedian being dumped mped by his girlfriend.

However, with all eyes on Seannn and Katya to see if they survive another week, Anton admitted he’s wary of anything ything that might take away Strictly’s sparkle. arkle.

He said: “The disappointing thingng is we spent the week talking about themem and not talking about the show – that,, for me, is a shame really.

“I love the show and I want thee show to keep its magic, because there’s nothingthing else like it. There are things that have triedried to be but they have come and gone.

“There’s nothing like Strictly inn the TV sense, but also in that it just makes everybody verybody feel better – and you want to try to keep that. We’d never want the lustre to dull.” .”

Anton, 52, and his dance partner Susannah Constantine were the first to leave this year’s show, which left him disappointed. d

He said: “We had a lovely time together and Susannah was fun. She has a wonderful personality.

“I think the longer she stayed in the show, that would have come out and people would have got behind her. The problem on Strictly is there’s no second chance. Once you’re out, you’re out, so unfortunately she’s gone.

“There’s no rhyme or reason why someone should last longer than somebody else. I have danced with Ann Widdecombe and Judy Murray and got to Blackpool and beyond.

“You do get frustrated but only because you are out. I’m now sitting in the background watching the show go on and I want to be dancing. I just love creating the numbers and putting the dances together and dancing with your partner.”

Despite his early exit, Anton remains busy.
