During her time on the show, Ola said that she felt pressure to be thin and at times it was a struggle as she naturally has “boobs and a bum”.

As a young dancer, she would only consume 600 calories a day and spoke about this candidly in her autobiography.

She recalled: “It was very important for me to look the best I could. I did used to go to extremes.

“I wouldn’t say I had an eating disorder, I was never treated for an eating disorder.

“I wanted to open up about that, to show everyone that it was not pretty and girls do go through those things.”

While she was once in the FHM sexiest 100 women list and posed nude for her own calendar, Ola says those days are over and she’s much more reserved now.

She said: “I think, like anything, you just need to know when to put some clothes on. I ’m going to be 37 in September and I’m getting on a bit.

“Who wants to buy a calendar of a 37-year- old if they can get a 20-year- old from Love Island? It’s their time to shine and sell calendars. I need to move on.”

Earlier this year, Ola and James – who have been together for nearly 20 years – revealed they would love a family and are undergoing IVF treatment.
