Tech a tip and keep Alexa out bedroom
A tech expert has advised people who own an Alexa gadget to keep the device out of the bedroom.
Dr Hannah Fry’s advice on Ama zon’s voi c e - activated assistant comes amid claims the firm has listened in on British homes.
It is thought two million UK homes have Alexa.
Dr Fry, of University College London, said: “There are spaces in your home, like the bedroom, which should remain completely private.
“This technolog y is activated by a trigger word but it keeps recording for a short period afterwards.”
