“So many people he knows are starting to worry that they won’t be able to pay their bills.

“That is quite alarming and worrying for a lot of players and I t ime dog- walk ing, exercising and supermarke­t shopping for herself, her husband and her parents.

Earlier this month, she posted one of her favourite performanc­es on YouTube, an outdoor show at Schaf fhausen, Switzerlan­d, for fans to watch for free.

She also unvei led an at-home performanc­e of a song called A Piece of my Heart, written while taking a break from touring and recording.

Amy said: “Right now everybody’s story is pretty much the same.

“I have written one song and it will probably be the only song I write because they would all have the same subject matter. news songs but I don’t know when hen the album will be released because use I was halfway through recording ng it when we had to stop.

“I was recording it in a studioo in Soho in London but there are more ore important things going on than an having to make an album.”

Amy took part in a 10- hour our streaming session by Scottish ish pop acts yesterday to raise funds nds for the music therapy charity ity Nordoff Robbins Scotland and nd the PPE charity ViseUp.

She’s also looking forward to playing live again at the postponed ned TRNSMT festival at Glasgow ow Green in 2021.

Amy said: “TRNSMT thankfully ully has been reschedule­d for next year ear with pretty much the same me line-up so I’m glad that I’m partt of that and I really hope that, when hen it comes round, we’re able to do it and hopefully we’ ll be inn a better place.

“Naturally, people will be a bit apprehensi­ve and that’s normal al but, by then, I’m sure people will ill feel a bit more relaxed about ut everything again.”

Amy also recently posted d pictures of her husband helping g to dye and style her hair.

The singer, who previously y admitted to going prematurel­y y grey in her mid-20s, said: “I dye e my own roots so it’s not an issue. . It’s probably the one time that I’ve been grateful that my hair grows so ridiculous­ly quick.

“I’ve got supplies of dye in my house because I have to dye my hair on a regular basis. So I already stocked up on that.”

But despite having more time on her hands, she insists she is not planning to have children any time soon.

She added: “I’m too busy for that. It’s not something I’ve thought about. I’ve still got loads of things I want to do.”
