Jambos will show siege mentality

- ■ Fraser Wilson

Craig Gordon insists a siege mentality will fire Hearts’ drive back to the top.

The veteran keeper is preparing to start the new season in the Championship after leaving Celtic.

Bottom side Hearts still had eight games left to secure their top-flight survival when the league was cal led early due to the coronavirus outbreak.

SPFL chief executive Nei l Doncaster (above) could yet be grilled in court about the vote to end the season.

Gordon said: “There’s going to be bad blood in Scottish football for years on the back of this. Hearts will use this to bring everybody together to get back to where we want to be.

“I find it incredible that Scottish football couldn’t come together when there’s so much going on in the world – but it couldn’t and we have to deal with it.”
