Levein’s on hunt

Craig Levein is mulling over a possible move abroad after leaving Hearts.

The former Jambos boss and director of football departed Tynecastle at the end of May and is considering his next step.

The 55-year- old was linked with a possible return to Dundee United but has revealed his only contact so far has been with clubs overseas.

And the ex- Scotland boss insists he is open to any offer that has an opportunity for ‘success’.

He said: “I’ve spoken to clubs, all of them abroad. There’s things moving a little bit quicker in some other countries than they are in Scotland.

“I’m going to wait and see what pops up and if there’s anything I feel gives me a decent chance of being successful, I’ll have a look.”
