Gunners on the march
Arsenal’s revival gathered pace with a win that put a huge dent in Wolves’ Champions League prospects.
Bukayo Saka pounced just before half-time to fire home his first Premier League goal for the Gunners.
Wolves pushed hard for a leveller but Mikel Arteta’s side held firm then killed the game off when sub Alexandre Lacazette netted late on.
The victory was Arsenal’s fourth in a row in all competitions and fired them up to seventh, just three points behind the Molineux men.
Goal hero Saka said: “We fought for every ball and it is good to build some momentum. I’m only 18 and it has been a dream to play for this club.”
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: “We have to bounce back and reinvent ourselves. We must stay in the game.”
