Family pay loving tribute to NHS worker Noor, 26, killed in tragic road accident
Tributes have been paid to a “princess” hospital worker who died after being hit by a car.
Noor Court, 26, was struck by a Toyota Yaris on Eglinton Street, Glasgow, around 8.45am on October 6.
The vehicle had been involved in a two-car collision and left the road, striking the NHS worker as she walked on the pavement.
Noor was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the vehicles were not injured.
Tributes have poured in for the chi ldren’s ward worker, who has been described as a “princess” by her devastated mum.
Lia Court said: “On Wednesday we lost our beautiful darling Noor in a tragic traffic accident.
“We are totally broken and still in complete shock and disbelief.
“The fact we will never again see her, hear her, smell her or be able to hold her, is incomprehensible
and so unbearable. Our Noor was a princess (named after a much beloved queen) and the light of our family. Such a special, happy and positive girl who constantly spreads joy and love wherever she was.”
Boyfriend Will Little posted: “I just can’t put into words how broken I am. My beautiful, caring,
curious, crazy and wickedly funny partner in life.
“Completely set for whatever challenges the world threw at us, apar t f rom this one cruel moment.” Older sister Naga Kaplan added: “She was absolutely perfect in every single way.
“Our pride and joy. Our golden girl. She was always up to being
si l ly and making jokes. es . Incredibly funny. Also so very ry sweet, kind and loving. Smart, rt, creative, talented, just perfect.” ect.”
A 35-year-old man was initially ially arrested in connection with the crash but has since been released.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
