Gordon’s girl quashes rumours of a romance with dance partner Nikita
They’ve been plagued by romance rumours since they took to the Strictly dancefloor in week one.
But Tilly Ramsay, 19, quashed the claims with her dance pro partner Nikita Kuzmin, saying: “We’re just having fun.
“People are just obsessed with the curse but don’t seem to realise that we can be just good friends.
“And that’s all we are. People seem to forget that. I said from the start that I am here to learn to dance and that’s it.”
The pair have become firm friends, and Nikita, 23, has his feet well and truly under the table in the Ramsay household.
But he admits he was nervous about meeting Tilly’s famous chef dad Gordon Ramsay for the first
time, saying: “I got a bit scared. I
was pretty anxious when we got the video call during the training, but he’s so supportive, to be fair.
“Gordon and Tana even made me a nice card thanking me for having a good relationship with Tilly.
“I think what Gordon sees is that we get on well together, and that we are really haphappy just to be here
in the show. “We are really happy h just to dance da and just to have ha fun. It’s like two tw good friends met me for Strictly.”
And A Tilly says her mum mu Tana makes the pai r packed lu nches for rehearsals, rehe adding: “YeYesterday, it was salmon salm and an Asian coleslaw cole salad. She makes things that are always healthy and very nutritious.”
Meanwhile, Gordon is on hand to ensure his youngest daughter has the best diet while training.
TikTok star Tilly said: “They wake me up every morning with a cup of tea, and then I come down to some nice toast or porridge.”
While Gordon may not have the time to cook a three-course meal for his daughter, he’s still involved in their journey on the show.
Tilly says he calls her every day to see how training is going and he was seen crying with pride while watching her perform the Charleston. She said: “People have seen a softer side to dad. It was nice to see.”
In last night’s show Greg Wise and Karen Hauer burned up the floor with their Macarena, while Dan Walker and Nadiya Bychkova vowed to give their cha cha some “MC Hammer magic”.
