Go fourth & conquer

-

LES KISS insists a top four finish is very much achievable for Ulster despite a testing run of games to come.

Friday night’s 17-27 win away to the Dragons means Ulster stay fourth in the table, but their failure to gain a bonus point means fifthplaced Scarlets have reduced their cushion to three points with four matches left.

Ahead of games against Munster, Ospreys and Leinster Kiss insisted: “We have to go game at a time and a win is the priority each time. A top four finish is doable.”

John Andrew’s late try secured 14-man Ulster a crucial win.

They twice opened a seven-point lead through tries by wing Craig Gilroy (above) and Jarrod Payne.

In a week when the Welsh Rugby Union announced they intend to take over the region, Dragons hit back with scores by Rynard Landman and Ollie Griffiths.

Paddy Jackson’s kick edged Ulster ahead but Rodney Ah You was shown a red card before Andrew’s winning try.
