MY PERFECT SUNDAY

I would wake up and enjoy a full English breakfast and slob around reading the papers for a bit.

My Radio 2 show Elaine Paige on Sunday would be pre-recorded so I could go off and play tennis for around two hours at Queen’s tennis club, in London.

I really enjoy tennis and try and do it every week – it keeps me fit. But you know about it the next day! Afterwards I’d have a lovely, social lunch with a few glasses of wine in the sun with some of my tennis friends.

Then I’d go and see an early evening movie at the cinema. I like thrillers and romantic comedies – as long as it’s not an animated film, I don’t mind too much.

Sometimes it’s hard to find something I want to watch as the movies showing are often geared towards the younger generation.
