Major movie offers... but Harry vows to stick with music

-

THE bright lights of Hollywood are usually enough to turn the head of a young star – but not Harry Styles.

While his movie debut Dunkirk is dropping in July, I can reveal the former One Direction fella is making music his priority.

This week he announced a world tour of intimate venues to support the release of his self-titled first album, kicking off in San Francisco on September 19.

A source in LA revealed: “Harry has opted to pursue his music career ahead of movies.

“He’s found himself a very wanted man, besieged by leading man role offers worth serious bucks, but he’s adamant music is his first love. Harry is setting down a market to the world as a credible solo star with live shows and hard promo on the road.” First single, Sign Of The Times, topped the charts around the world and was praised for its rock sound. And Harry has lost none of his down-to-earth charm, which made him the most popular 1D member.

Scouting For Girls frontman Roy Stride, who wrote for One Direction, bumped into him at a private members’ club.

Roy, whose band’s 10th anniversary self-titled debut album re-release is out on May 19, said: “I was having lunch in Soho House with my wife Lucy when Harry walked in. She went to the toilet then Harry came over and we chatted for five minutes then he sat back down.

“Lucy walked back into the room and I didn’t even tell her.”

Sorry to break it to you, Lucy.
