QI really want to keep chickens for organic free range eggs. I have a large garden but don’t really know where to start as I have never keep livestock. If I get a hen house can I keep them outside all year round?

There’s a lot to think about with getting chickens, such as choosing a breed, where to source them from, what to feed them and how to house them. You’ll also need to think about how to keep them safe from predators and who will take care of them when you go away.
