Zoe’s words of comfort for others haunted by suicide
ZOE Ball has been supporting others grieving for loved ones just weeks after her boyfriend’s suspected suicide.
The Radio 2 host has been comforted by messages from well-wishers since cameraman Billy Yates, 40, was found hanged in May.
Last week one Instagram follower told Zoe she lost the father of her stepchildren 10 years ago to the day. Zoe, 46, replied: “We have something so tragic in common but your strength and love fills me with hope & comfort.
“And I hope in turn I can do the same for someone in the future.”
Another follower said she felt she was on the “same awful journey” as Zoe after her son’s dad took his own life last month.
The caring TV star wrote back: “Smallest steps. Let the waves come when they must. Sending huge love.”
